{"id":57825,"date":"2026-10-22T12:15:09","date_gmt":"2026-10-22T12:15:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aea.academy\/?p=57825"},"modified":"2026-10-22T12:15:09","modified_gmt":"2026-10-22T12:15:09","slug":"situations-vacant-adjunct-faculty-l5-tourism-studies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aea.academy\/es\/situations-vacant-adjunct-faculty-l5-tourism-studies\/","title":{"rendered":"Situaciones Vacantes - Profesorado Adjunto"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Advenio eAcademy is in the process of developing a new Level 5 Undergraduate Higher Diploma in Tourism Studies Programme.<\/p>\n<p>Some additional members of Adjunct Faculty are required to participate in the programme design, development and implementation of the following modules in the programme :-<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Essentials of Global &amp; Regional Tourism Systems<\/li>\n<li>Essentials of Tourism Business Operations &amp; Management<\/li>\n<li>Basic Principles of Entrepreneurship in Tourism<\/li>\n<li>Meeting the challenges of sustainability<\/li>\n<li>Meeting the challenges of over-tourism<\/li>\n<li>Research Methods &amp; Data Analytics for Tourism<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Adjunct Faculty will be involved in the following tasks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design of the module structure, MFHEA application module description and development of the module content.<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of course modules, including delivery of weekly online tutorials and on-site support classes, review and marking of coursework comprising supervision and marking of forums and assignments;<\/li>\n<li>Supervision of final projects within the range of online and blended learning programmes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each module runs over a six-week period, with online tutorials and local on-site support classes, while final project supervision sessions are held online bi-weekly over a 24-week period. Online classes are held at 17.30 hrs CET, and on-site classes are held at 16.30 hrs CET at Easy School of Languages in Valletta.<\/p>\n<p>Tutors with appropriate academic qualifications, preferably a Master\u2019s degree in Tourism or in a relevant field and teaching experience are invited to apply.
