Earlier this week we received an invitation from the Project Green Challenge (PGC) for our students to participate in the Project Green Challenge (PGC) global initiative – an extraordinary opportunity for youth to engage in impactful environmental activism. Now in its 14th year, this transformative 30-day competition begins on October 1st and features eco-themed challenges that motivate students to take bold climate action, opening their eyes to the immense possibilities of what they can achieve – both now and for their future.
At the completion of the challenge, up to 14 finalists selected from the global cohort of thousands will be flown to San Francisco for an all-expenses-paid experience at the PGC Finals Climate Summit. In San Francisco they will develop climate action projects and be paired with mentors who will guide them over five months. These projects will be presented to and evaluated by a team of judges and the winner will receive the prestigious Acure Green Award of $5,000. PGC2024 offers a proven platform to engage young people in contributing to their country’s sustainability efforts.
