Award in Project Management for Social Enterprises

This module gives general overview on project cycle management definition for social entrepreneurship, cycle flow in project management, provides information, knowledge and tools for social enterprises. It will clearly define coordination, management, financing arrangements and a monitoring system to oversee and follow implementation and to support project management.
Case study will consolidate the project cycle management methodology as well. Solutions are also provided.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of the module/unit the learner will have acquired the responsibility and autonomy to:
a) Carry out a problem analysis for a social enterprise
b) Identify problems under different social and economic environments
c) Able to create project idea and develop solution strategy out of problems.
d) Comply with regulations
e) Able to create a project idea, design the project details, implement the activities planned
f) Able to evaluate a project idea and monitor the project results

Assessment Methods:
- Assignment / Case-Study – 1 (Contributes towards 60% of the module)
- Forum Discussions – 2 (Contributes towards 20% of the module)
- Tutorial Participation – 2 tutorial sessions (Contributes towards 20% of the module)
50% Marks in aggregate from the course works is required for getting pass in the module.
