The course will provide tools, required knowledge, and experiences in setting, providing, and analyzing digital marketing in the online environment. It will be based on actual best practices and the practical examples of various digital marketing campaigns and other digital marketing approaches that help businesses grow and find new potential customers.
The module can be split into the following sessions:

- Session 2 – Setting the Web pages
- Session 3 – Content Marketing and Copywriting
- Session 4 – Search marketing
- Session 5 – Online advertising
- Session 6 – Social Media Marketing
- Session 7 – Email marketing

- Session 9 – Blogging and Podcasting
- Session 10 – Affiliate Marketing
- Session 11 – Other Forms of Digital Marketing

Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the module/unit the learner will have acquired the following skills:
- Apply knowledge and understanding of digital marketing in a manner that indicates his/her professional approach to work or study
- Be involved in a role of manager of digital marketing campaigns in SME.
- Gather and interpret relevant data about digital marketing to inform judgements that include reflection on relevant social, scientific or ethical issues.
- Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions using a variety of techniques involving qualitative and quantitative information about digital marketing.
- Plan and design digital marketing campaigns in various online environments
- Review and evaluate the quality and potential of various forms of digital media and their marketing opportunities.
- Provide and analyze the results of the digital marketing campaigns in various conditions.
Each module will be assessed based on the following components:
- Quality of Contributions in Forums: 20%
- Evaluation of participation and the quality of insights shared in online discussion forums.
- Quality of Contributions in Tutorials: 20%
- Assessment of engagement and contributions during tutorial sessions.
- Research-Based Assignments: 60%
- Completion and quality of research-based assignments that demonstrate understanding and application of the course material.
Passing Criteria:
- Students must achieve an aggregate of 50% or higher across the three components to pass each module.
Scholarship Schemes for Maltese residents:
- MySkills Scheme: Malta residents are eligible for up to 80% reimbursement, capped at €5,000, subject to eligibility criteria. International students would be able to apply for the MySkills Scheme once they obtain their Student Temporary Residence Card (TRC). (For individual modules only)
- Get Qualified Scheme ( Scheme available for Maltese residents ) – 70% refund of course fee as a tax rebate
