Internship Based Final Project

EQF/MQF* Level 7 - *European Qualification Framework/Malta Qualification Framework Accreditation Category: Higher Education Course
  • Description

The Internship Programme provides an opportunity to combine theoretical education with applied work experience. Internships are distinguished from independent study in that interns will be working directly with a professional, rather than on their own. Through journal writing, mentor support, a midterm check-in, and a final analytical paper, interns will have the opportunity to gain perspectives on their internship that might otherwise miss in the rush of work. This final paper is to be completed within a period of 14 weeks after the completion of the internship period and is to focus on a business development within the host organisation. This final report is to provide full details on the planned development and its implementation.

The internship period will be of a minimum of 12 weeks followed by an additional 14 weeks for completion of the business development report. The students must develop a Business Development project for the internship host and submit as the Final Project paper.
