- Description
This module will explore the breadth of health informatics and how to use health informatics research to improve healthcare. Along with learning the key methodological considerations, students will examine the legal and ethical challenges of collecting personal health data and gain the skills and knowledge to undertake basic data linkage and health informatics research. The module will assist students in developing the Information Communications Technology (ICT) skills and knowledge required to support and improve health and healthcare delivery.
The module comprises of the following 6 sessions.

- Data Management & Advanced Analytics in Healthcare
- Data Analysis Techniques for Nursing Informatics
- Testing Data in Health Informatics
