Advenio eAcademy is a licensed Further & Higher Education Institution committed to the design, development and implementation of quality, accredited and non-accredited, online and blended learning courses in the broad field of Entrepreneurship as well as specialised programmes in health sciences.
Amongst the accredited programmes offered is the MQF/EQF 60 ECTS credit Level 6 Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Top-up) offered as a fully online and/or blended learning programme.
We are in the process of updating course content and deliverables on this programme and would like to recruit tutors to join our Adjunct Faculty on contracts for service for the following course modules:-
- Psychology of Patients, Families and Health Care Professionals
- Award in Ethical Issues and Decision Making
- Quantitative Research Methods in Nursing
- Evidence-Based Nursing
- Qualitative Research Methods in Nursing
- Patient-Centred Care
- Health Informatics
Adjunct Faculty members will be involved in the following:
- Implementation of course modules, including delivery of weekly online tutorials and on-site support classes, review and marking of student coursework comprising leading discussion forums, supervision and marking of forum submissions and course assignments;
The implementation of each module takes place over a five-week period with online tutorials and local on-site support classes. Online classes are held at 17.30 hrs CET, and on-site classes at 16.30 hrs CET, at the ESL Centre in St. Ursula Street, Valletta.
Tutors with appropriate academic qualifications, with a minimum of a Master’s degree in Nursing or in a relevant Health Care field and teaching experience are invited to apply. Preference will be given to Malta-based tutors who can manage both the online involvement and the on-site support classes held in Valletta.
