ARPEL4Entrep – Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship
This project, Accreditation & Recognition of Prior Experience & Learning for Entrepreneurship (ARPEL4Entrep) was launched in September 2020 as an Erasmus+ co-funded project developed by a group of European Higher Educational Institutions and Technical Partners. The scope of the project is to leverage the infrastructure and competencies of the partners in e-learning and the collective expertise and resources of the partners in creating a programme which would encourage entrepreneurs to accredit and recognise their prior experience and learning as part of a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship.

The Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship programme comprises :
Stage 1 – ARPEL process: Steps 1 – 4 including online interviewing and evaluation
Stage 2 – Subject course modules: a selection of 8 out of 10 subjects
Stage 3 – Final research project: practical research project to launch or grow the business
Stage 1: ARPEL Process
A 4 Stage process for the Accreditation and recognition of prior experiences and learning of up-to 90 ECTS credits at EQF/MQF Level 6
Stage 2: Subject Modules - Selection of 8 out of 10

- Award in Fundamentals of EU Business Law
- Award in Managing Peoples in SMEs
- Award in Marketing Practices for SMEs
- Award in Digital Marketing Practices for SMEs
- Award in ICT Applications for SMEs
- Award in Financial Management of small business
- Award in Fundamentals of eCommerce
- Award in Creativity & Innovation for SMEs
- Award in Business Simulation for Management Practice
Stage 3: Final Project
Research and Development of an investor-ready Business Plan.

Target Group:
The target groups for this programme are as follows:
- Entrepreneurs with more than 4 years of SME experience, but without an MQF Level 6 qualification
- Entrepreneurs with an MQF Level 6 or 7 qualification in subjects not related to Business studies
- Students with post-secondary qualifications (A-levels) in any business and management related subject including Accounting, Finance, Business and Management Studies, Marketing, Human Resource Management and including others.
- The target audience: Ages 19-30/31-65/65+.
Language of Instruction : English
Entry Requirements
- Successful completion of an approved secondary qualification
And
- Evidence of English language proficiency of IELTS level 5 results, or equivalent certificate
And
- Minimum of 4 years of entrepreneurial work experience in middle/senior level within an SME environment.

Assessment Methods:
Each Module will be assessed as follows:
- Quality of contributions provided in Forums (20%)
- Quality of contributions provided in tutorials (20%)
- Assignments which will be research based (60%)
Learning Outcomes:
The learner will be able to:
- Evaluate current personal, team and an organisation’s core competencies.
- Proceed with suggesting team training needs based on current core competencies and needs analysis.
- Identify the required knowledge and skill set required for the current, desired task, being it communication skills, theoretical or applied knowledge.
- Illustrate the knowledge and skills of collecting information pertaining to entrepreneurship and related fields.
- Identify the need of further knowledge and proceed with drafting a personal learning needs plan and plan further studies.
- Evaluate the potential and limitations of management science, its role in society and an individual’s responsibility for how it is used.
- Gain the analytical ability needed to develop a continual understanding of the challenges that an international business would be facing.
Admission Process
- Complete the online form (Form link).
- Send required documents and await approval.
- Send payment.
- Once registered, login to your ARPEL Student Dashboard and proceed with the ARPEL process.
- Attend the Evaluation Interview and earn the final ECTS score in ARPEL process at Level 6.
- If the ECTS credits earned are equal to or above 74 students will be eligible for the full Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship Programme.
- Once selected, applicants will be invited to proceed with the programme on the basis of the terms and conditions provided.
